The Concourse Hotel is located at 1 West Dayton Street, Madison, WI 53703, phone 1-800-356-8293 or 608-257-6000. Nightly room rates are $93/single and $103/double; Governor's Club rates are $129/single and $139/double. Please book your rooms early -- the reserved block of rooms always fills up in the weeks before the convention. If you call, make sure to mention "WisCon 2008". The Concourse is a handicapped accessible hotel; call for specific information about accessibility. Smoke-free rooms are available upon request. Check-in time is 3 p.m.; check-out time is 12 noon. The Concourse does have a swimming pool (open till 1 a.m.!) so bring your suit. There is also a whirlpool and steam room.

The Concourse has an underground parking garage, but it is not free. Information about all your parking options is available here.
The hotel has a bar (called "The Bar") and a restaurant, open from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then for dinner. There are lots of other places to eat within easy walking distance of the Concourse, including a bazillion espresso joints and a good brewpub.
To our astonishment, the Concourse is already sold out. You can call and see if they've had a cancellation, but don't be surprised if nothing is available. We strongly advise you to book into the overflow block of rooms for WisCon attendees at The Inn on The Park, just about three blocks away from the Concourse.

The Inn on the Park rate will be $124/night single/double occupancy, with an extra $10/person charge for the third or fourth guests per room.
