Readings Signup for WisCon32

Readings set up was a little hairy last year, and we thank you for your patience. In order to facilitate a smoother process this year, please read and follow the instructions below to sign up for a reading.

This year we will have two pools: one for group readings, and one for people who would like to be randomly assigned to groups. Please indicate which option you would like.

Please also note the following:

• You must register for WisCon 32 before signing up for a reading. If your are not registered already, you may be dropped. This is because WisCon has been known to sell out of registrations and hotel rooms.
  


• Every member of your group must sign up individually. If a member does not sign up, they may be dropped. This is to make sure your group members actually do want to read with you.
  


• Only one reading per person. There's no maximum number for your group's participants; note, however, that you have 75 minutes from start of set up to end of pull down.
  

To sign up, please email readings32@wiscon.info in this specific format between February 15 and March 7:

Heading: Wiscon Reading Request

Body of Email: (please cut and paste and leave the numbers in)

1. Name, email

2. A) Reading with X, X, and X, or, B) Individual Pool

3. A) Name of group, or, B) Topic/sub-genre

4. Any timing requests (be specific...for example, "I will not arrive at Wiscon until Friday pm." If your excuse is "I can't get up before 9 am" you should provide a medical reason..."because my pacemaker has to recharge that long" otherwise I make no guarantees) and if you would like/would object to a midnight reading slot.

5. Location request: in the con room or Michaelangelo's Coffee shop.

6. Recent pubs by you/your group. (this is for sorting...newer pubs get priority)

7. Special concerns, needs, bribes, et cetera.
